PUMP gym - Watford

Rather than refurbish an existing site Pump Gyms have taken the £1.5m plunge on a vast new 3 story site and we do think it’s turned out rather well. Continuing with the night club feel we piloted last year, we’ve cranked up the design of this gym to another level. This 16 week strip out of the old office block and fit out of the new has been a full DBI design and build project. We’ve removed virtually all traces of any officeness, stripping out the ceiling on the GF to give a bang on trend concrete exposed ceiling, and transformed the top floor by opening all up to the roof. There’s a 50-person studio, our new PUMP SPIN concept, fabulous changing rooms with sensor showers, huge saunas and twice as much LED lighting than we’ve ever put in a building. We’ve never seen so many people on a pre sell weekend chomping to start using it.
